I trained as a Primary school teacher. My report card on leaving college said “would succeed in teaching or broadcasting”. So for 40 odd years I played in radio, both on the microphone and in management. It was fun.
I’ve been married for 47 years and love the formal coupling that is marriage. Sure it has its ups and downs but anything worth doing is worth working at. The longevity of being with your best friend can overcome all.
Public speaking has always been a passion of mine, so after being asked to MC many a wedding, through my family and broadcasting connections, I thought, why not take this to the next stage and become a celebrant.
I have been lucky enough to officiate many weddings and funerals and always appreciate the positive feedback that comes back to me about the ceremonies being unique and personal. My number one goal is to make sure you feel heard and you and your loved ones feel celebrated.
I welcome your questions and look forward to getting to know you.
“Larry performed both as our celebrant and MC. He was very professional and accommodating to our requests and questions. His calm demeanour helped ease our worries and helped our big day go as smoothly as possible. Our guests enjoyed his presence and were happily entertained and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to all.”

“Steve and I wanted a relaxed and fun wedding. The ceremony that Larry wrote for us was all that but also...very personal. He made us both feel at ease with his calm, professional style. And on top of all that, he is a great guy and we enjoyed spending time with him."

“ A big thank you to Larry for his part in our farewell to mum. I have had so many people remark on what a great job he did and everyone was in agreement that Mum’s story was told in such a personal and touching way. So once again thank you!”

“Larry was absolutely incredible, he crafted a wonderful wedding ceremony personal to us. He balanced humour and emotion beautifully to the point my granny didn’t even question why he wasn’t a bishop.”
